"Football is a physical sport, and our players understand that. They've been taught since childhood to simply go out there and play. I don't need to ask their opinion; they're ready to win."
Schottenheimer's conviction is evident: "If I were to poll the locker room, every player would raise their hand, eager to play for all the reasons I've mentioned. They love and support each other, and they know we're creating something extraordinary. We want to avoid a losing record and finish strong in the division."
In considering worst-case scenarios, Schottenheimer is mindful of veteran players like Dak Prescott. "It's an option we've discussed, but we want to finish strong and build momentum. Dak is playing exceptionally well, and we're committed to a cautious approach."
